Virginia K. "Ginny" Wollenhaupt

Virginia K. Wollenhaupt (née Runck) known to her many friends as "Ginny" passed from this life on February 9, 2018 at the age of 101. 

She is the devoted wife of the late Glen J. Wollenhaupt (deceased 2000).  Loving mother of Glen H. (Mary) Wollenhaupt and Michael J.(Patricia) Wollenhaupt.  She is the cherished grandmother of Glen M. (Jeanette) Wollenhaupt, Wendy (Travis) Ashburn, Amy (Jason) Godfrey, and Amanda Cox (Dustin Brewer).   Adored great grandmother of 9 special great grandchildren.  Dear sister of the late Margaret (Herman) Herzog & Esther (James) Wollenhaupt. 

Virginia was a lifelong member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and enjoyed her years with the Argus Club, Delhi Historical Society, Bridge Club, Dancealots Club, and participated in many Western Hills High School Alumni functions with her teacher husband.  She was employed in her early working years at Western and Southern Life insurance and later at Thoma Opticians.

Friends are invited to a visitation Saturday February 17th from 11 am until time of funeral ceremony at 1 pm, all at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City Avenue.  Virginia will be buried at Spring Grove Cemetery next to her long cherished husband.
