Terri C. (nee Cornuelle), age 66 of Colerain Township, died suddenly November 10, 2016 of undiagnosed vasculitis. Beloved wife of Mark M. Smith for 38 years, loving mother of Kimberly (Kristin) Cornuelle-Marks and Megan (Michael) Stieg, and cherished grandmother of Isaac, Inez and Elliot. Dear sister of Michael (Terry) Cornuelle, Paul (Andrea) Cornuelle, Linda (Bernie) Varnau, Nancy (Mark) Klotz, Bobby (Will Parsons) Cornuelle and David (Sharon) Cornuelle. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and many friends. Terri was a music teacher in Oak Hills Local School District for 37 years, retiring in 2009. She taught primarily at J.F. Dulles and Delshire Elementary Schools. She was an organist and music director for 44 years, most recently at St. Peter & St. Paul UCC; also including Monfort Heights United Methodist Church, St. John’s UCC on Neeb Road, and Christ Church UCC in Ft. Thomas, KY. She was a graduate of Anderson High School, received her BS in Education from Butler University, and her Master’s in Music Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She loved to accompany her daughters on violin and cello.

She loved her family, and enjoyed planning get-togethers and holidays, especially Christmas. She liked to travel—special favorites included Gatlinburg, TN, Florida, Rocky Mountain National Park, Alaska, and Salzburg & Vienna, Austria. In her spare time, she read fantasy novels, and enjoyed crafting, particularly sewing.

Terri was a 25-year subscriber to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and a patron of the Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Museum Center, and WGUC. She was a member of the Ohio Music Education Association.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday, November 18, from 6 to 7:30 PM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., 45238.

Celebration of Life Service at 11 AM, Saturday, November 19 at Cheviot United Methodist Church, 3820 Westwood Northern Blvd., 45211.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra or WGUC Cincinnati Public Radio, Inc.
