Stephen Sandberg

With great sadness we would like to inform everyone that Steve Sandberg passed away suddenly on July 21, 2021. He was graduate of Oak Hill High School Class of 1970 in Cincinnati and Thomas More University in 1974 in Northern Kentucky. Steve was the ultimate servant to the people his whole life through his career in Social Work. He made a difference to so many people less fortunate than most: The orphaned, the abandoned, the abused, the sick, the destitute, and the elderly. His compassion was off the chart. He cared for others more than he cared for himself. His brothers Chris and Scott are so proud of his compassion for others. Like all Sandberg men he certainly had no issue with making his opinions known. He had a passion for politics and conversation was always interesting and controversial! He was an avid Cincinnati Reds baseball fan, who fondly remembered the great times during the Big Red Machine era in the 70's attending playoff and World Series games with his Dad, and brothers Chris and Scott. The family takes comfort in knowing that by now, he has resumed philosophical conversations with his Dad and is looking down at the world with suggestions to make things better.

"We will miss Steve so much. We love you Brother. Till we cross paths again. I will leave you all with his favorite quote, "And Always Remember, Live Long and Prosper". Love you Steve!"
