Shirley Jean Crosby

Shirley Jean Crosby, passed peacefully in the care of her family on February 24, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 77.

She is the loving wife of 56 years to William “Bill” Crosby.  Devoted mother of Kelly & Shane (Tracy) Crosby.  Cherished grandmother of Alexis, Samantha and Danielle.  Dear sister of Ruby Tussey and James Madden and the late Glenn Madden.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  

She had an outstanding work ethic and put forth 110% in everything she did. She earned many awards, including secretary of the month and nominee for Federal Employee of the Year, during her career as a lead secretary at the IRS. She loved reading, clogging, being with family and friends, and was a dedicated member of Harvest Baptist Church.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday March 1, from 11 am until time of funeral service at 1 pm, all at the Harvest Baptist Church 5541 Cleves-Warsaw Pike 45238. 

The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, cards will be available at the church.
