Sheila K. Robertson (nee Koester)

Beloved wife of Kenneth Robertson. Sister to Mary Anne. Loving mother of Amy and Jenny, mother-in-law to Randy and Tom, Grandmother of Alison, Maxwell, and Oliver, great-grandmother of Brianna Lee. Sheila passed away Wednesday, June 1st, 2022. Age 82 years. She is preceded in heaven by her parents, Elmer and Lvda and her brother Edward.

Sheila graduated from Central High School in 1957 and married her sweetheart Ken on October 18th, 1958 (that’s 63 years married!)

Sheila was a devoted mother who also worked a variety of jobs, including Provident Bank, The Bureau of Indian Affairs, The Air Force, and Procter and Gamble—where she worked with the team developing Hawaiian Punch.

When her husband Ken had a heart transplant in 1995, Sheila lovingly cared for him on every step to his full recovery.

Sheila was a lifelong member of Price Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her family and was an avid crafter—famous for her baskets and quilts. She loved to read, and had a keen eye for book editing, and could probably find at least five typos in this, her obituary.

Sheila loved time spent with her grandchildren, especially the time she was blessed to have with her great-granddaughter Brianna Lee.

Sheila would never turn down a trip to Putz’s Creamy Whip or a visit to La Rosa’s for “Spaghetti-A-Plenty” night, where she would famously partake in one small bowl of spaghetti.

Sheila was a gentle soul and kind to every person she ever met. She is survived by her family, who grieve, but also delight in knowing that those in heaven now get to play charades with Sheila—which they won’t soon forget.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Friday, June 10th, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Funeral Service on Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 am. Both at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home (2880 Boudinot Ave.)
