Ruth S. Steinhard

STEINHARD

Ruth S. (nee Herbig), devoted wife of the late Bertram H. “Bert” Steinhard, loving mother of Scott (Monna) and Bruce (Kathie) Steinhard, cherished grandmother of Nadine (Jake) Williams, Justin (Ale) Steinhard and Hannah Steinhard.

Ruth worked as a file clerk with the American Can Company.  Was active in PTA at Covedale School, serving as the president from 1961-1962. She was affiliated with St. Peter & St. Paul United Church of Christ, Shiloh United Methodist Church and Alexandria Methodist Church. In 1998 Ruth was honored to  receive the Home Town Hero write up in the Cincinnati Enquirer, and in 2002 Ruth was the proud recipient of the United Church Home Ben Herbster Award for her many years as a supporter and volunteer at Riverview Home.

Wednesday December 28, 2016. Age 93 years.

Visitation 9:30 AM Saturday, followed by an 11 AM Funeral Service at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., 45238.
