Rita Ann Davey

Rita Ann Davey (nee Schuerman), age 73, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. Devoted wife of Tom Davey. Beloved mother of Scott Davey, Bridget Kamp (Chris) and Tiffanee Witt (JT). Treasured grandmother of Jake Kamp, Maddie Kamp, Eli Witt, Jonah Witt & Violet Witt. Cherished Sister of  Lois Jean Lambers (Dick) & Carole Adams (Gary), She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank T. & Ella Mae Schuerman, brother Frank E. Schuerman, son Scott Davey, father in law John “Tom” Davey  & mother in law Betty Jane Davey. She is survived by many dear nieces & nephews.

We will always remember her warmth, love, and generosity. Rita will always be known for her kind words and service to others. A teacher by vocation, she served as an elementary & preschool teacher and a high school special needs aide. She was devoted to her family and treasured her precious grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her love, Tom, and especially enjoyed camping and cruises. Her favorite hobbies were cooking, entertaining, playing board games and gardening.  

Family & Friends are invited to visit on Monday September 26, 2022 from 6 pm-8 pm at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle funeral home. Service on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 11 am at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle funeral home.
