Ray Schaffer

Raymond "Ray" W. Schaffer, passed peacefully after a courageous battle with Cancer on November 6, 2014 at the age of 48.  He is the devoted husband of Amy Schaffer (nee Thomas).  Loving father of his son's: Will, Sam and Jake. Beloved son of Raymond and Joan Schaffer (nee Sucher).  Dear brother of Christine, Connie, Colleen, Cheri and Steve.  He was the cherished uncle to many special nieces, nephews and cousins.  Ray was a special part of the St. Ignatius Church and School Parish Community and will be remembered & missed by countless friends and coworkers.  Family and friends are invited to a Visitation Thursday November 13, from 4-8 PM at the Hilvert Center at St. Ignatius Church: 5222 North Bend Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45247.  Funeral Mass will be Friday 10:30 AM at the Church.  A reception of his life will follow on Friday in the Hilvert Center.
