Nancy Hogue

Nancy Hogue (née Mayer) passed in the loving care of her family on January 19^th at the age of 77.  She was the devoted wife of the late Ronald “Ron” Hogue. Loving mother of Ron (Sandy) Hogue, Michelle (Anthony) Elliott and the late Scott Hogue.  Cherished grandmother of Jordan Hogue, Andrew (Alex) Hogue, Brandon (Kelly) Hogue, Javon (Jalyn) Elliott and Jawon (Alaysha) Elliott. Great-grandmother of Kingston and Londyn.  Dear sister of Eileen (Tom) Trapp and the late Jack Mayer and Tina Jarboe.

It would be wrong to say that Nancy lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Nancy stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. There was no quit in Nancy. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight. 

Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved her Pepsi and a good Pina Colada.  Nancy was always catching up on reality TV and getting out for Wednesday Bingo and her monthly girls dinner.  For Nancy, being with her family and friends was everything.  Her humor, affection and presence will be sorely missed.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Thursday January 25^th from 5 pm until time of funeral service at 7 pm, all taking place at Dalbert Woodruff and Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue 45238
