Michael David Heroux

Michael David Heroux, 64, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025. Born on May 3, 1961, Michael immediately faced serious challenges, due to complications with his birth. In spite of being dealt an extraordinarily tough hand, Michael became renowned for his handsome and affectionate smile, which always lit up the room. His boyish innocence, playful nature, and warmth touched the hearts of all who knew him.

His deepest love was for his beloved mother, Mary Heroux, who preceded him in death in 2020. Their bond was truly one of a kind and inspirational, and the family takes incredible comfort in knowing they’ve been reunited. His father, Mike Heroux, also preceded him in death in 2016. Michael is survived by his five siblings who each shared their own personal connection with him: Michelle (Chris) Maxwell, Mindy (Tim) Scully, Melissa (Mark) Weber, Matt (Shannon) Heroux, and Maureen Heroux. He also had many nieces and nephews, and the entire family will cherish many fond and funny memories.  

Requiring 24/7 care, Michael was embraced by an extended family of dedicated caregivers at Takoda Trails and Cardinal Healthcare Management. Their compassion and commitment provided him with dignity and comfort, and his family is profoundly grateful for their unwavering support.  

Michael was an angel here on earth, and he’s finally at peace in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Although grieving, the hope-filled words of “I Can Only Imagine” have given the family joy and peace in their hearts. 

A private memorial will be held for the family.
