Mary Elizabeth (Rennie) Schramm passed away early Sunday morning April 28th . She was 82 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late James W. Schramm and is the mother of her two sons, Greg Schramm (Cindy) and Richard Schramm (Cristy), and the grandmother of Neil Schramm (Cheyenne), Mark Schramm, Jack Schramm, Savannah Noppert, and Krystle Edison, and she was the great-grandmother to seven children. She also leaves behind her partner and friend of the last 13 years, Ted Cassady.

Mary was born on October 20, 1941 along with her identical twin sister, Margaret (Rennie) Hayhurst (Everett). She is predeceased by her late brother, Jerry Rennie, her father, Clifford Rennie, her mother, Neva Rennie (Allen) her aunt Rose Allen and her uncle, George Locker.

Mary worked for the Cincinnati Public Schools for many years and was happy to help children in her school that needed additional care, i.e. food, clothing, and love. Mary also had a very inquisitive spiritual side and was always exploring theories of life beyond this mortal world. She called this life “earth school” and she always had an extremely positive outlook. Her wit and her beaming smile and energy will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1st. Visitation starting at 1:00pm until time of the Service at 3:00pm. All services will be held at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45238
