Marie Raptes

Marie Raptes beloved wife, mother, grandmother & friend, died suddenly and peacefull in the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, January 13, 1004, at the ageof 78 years in Cincinnati. Marie was born in Richmond, IN, on March 16, 1925, and married the love of her life, Nicholas J. Raptes in 1948. Marie was one of five children born to the late Nicholas and Nora Thomas. She is survived by her beloved husband, Nicholas Raptes, celebrating over 55 years of love and commitment to each other. Marie was also devoted mother to James (Jo Ann) Raptes, Anna (George) Bikas, Peggy (Wayne) Leslie, Eleni (Bob) Liston and Stephanie (Joe) Polen, cherished grandmother of Ann-Marie, Helena-Marie, Michael, Stacey, Renee, Emily, Nicholas, Eftehea, Marie, Chrysann, Constance, Amanda, Robbie, Lisa, Joey and Zoe, great-grandmother of Olivia and Electra, loving sister of Mary Creona, Ann Stathes, Chris Sullivan and the late Adam Thomas. Marie was a loving wife, mother and friend to all who knew her. Funeral service Friday, 10 AM, at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Visitation Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City.
