Kathryn "Katie" Bayer

Kathryn (Katie) E. Bayer, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on June 10, 2022 at the age of 28.  Katie was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and fought a courageous battle with a smile until the very end.  She enjoyed vacations at the beach, riding rollercoasters, listening to music, and spending time with her family.  She is survived by her parents Julie Bayer and Daniel Bayer.  Her sisters Emily (Jeff) Weckbach and Allison (Josh) Abner. Her grandparents Gail (the late Ron) Holtkamp.  Her nephews Niles and Freddie, who were the light of her life and special aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Katie was a friend to everyone and her kindness always left you with a smile.  She had a heart of gold.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation Friday June 17th, from 9 am until time of Mass at 11 am, all at St. Antoninus Catholic Church 1500 Linneman Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238. She will be laid to rest at New St. Joseph Cemetery.
