Julia ”Judy” (nee Haverty), passed away May 19, 2015 after a lengthy illness. Devoted wife of the late Clifford J. Metzger. Loving mother of Denise (Ronald Roach) Worthington, London, OH. Adoring grandmother of Louisa (Joseph) Fitzgerald and Sarah (Lars) Berg, Berwyn, IL. Great grandmother of Emery Jane Fitzgerald and Clifford Dean Berg. Survived by brother Patrick J. Haverty, Chattanooga, TN and sister, Mary Irene Damron, Kailua Kona, HI, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond J. Haverty. Born in Savannah, GA in 1925, she was raised in Chattanooga, TN, moving to Cincinnati when she married in 1944. Judy was active in many organizations including Westwood Women’s Republican Club, auxiliary of Mercy Franciscan Hospital and past president of Cincinnati Elks #5 Ladies Auxiliary.
