Joyce Anderson

Joyce Anderson, a cherished soul whose kindness touched the hearts of many, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on June 2, 1944, in Wayne County, Kentucky, she carried with her an unwavering spirit that resonated warmth and love in all her interactions.

Joyce dedicated her professional life as a Food Production Associate at Kroger Manufacturing Co., where she was known for her diligence and work ethic. To Joyce, the essence of life was found in family. She exemplified this through her compassionate nature, quiet disposition, and friendly smile. She was always ready to lend a hand to those she loved.

She was blessed with a strong familial bond and is survived by her beloved sisters: Geneva Lovett, Lois Bovaird, and Alma Basham, as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Stan & Elizabeth Anderson. Joyce also leaves behind several generations of nieces and nephews, who will miss her gentle, nurturing spirit. Her family will forever cherish the countless memories of family gatherings filled with laughter, love, and her relentless joy in capturing special moments with her ever-present camera. 

Joyce is preceded in death by her devoted parents, Loyd and Edith Anderson; her siblings, Roger Dale Anderson and Betty Gruzauskas; and her brother-in-law, Coy Lovett.

In remembering Joyce, we hold close the tender memories of a woman who never spoke a bad word and was always there to assist family and friends, embodying a love that was truly unconditional. As we say goodbye, we are left with the enduring legacy of her kind heart, always smiling, always giving, a testament to the beauty of a life well lived.

All funeral services will be held private with her family and she will be laid to rest in McCreary County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Whitley City, Kentucky.
