Josephine Henke (nee Evans)
Beloved wife of the late Carl Henke Jr. Loving mother of Rhonda (late Kirk) Doebrich, Stephanie (Rob) Bevis and Tonya (Jon) VanSkaik. Cherished grandmother of Chris, Evan, Ryan, Megan, Kayla, Hunter, Carlton and Alyssa. Adored great grandmother of 8 great grandchildren. Loving daughter of the late Woodrow and Clara Evans. Dear sister of Mary (Winston) Phipps, Bill (Theresa) Evans, Harold (Kathy) Evans, Ruth (Don) Stewart, Kenny Evans, Marti (Wayne) Meeks and Bonnie (late Tony) Evans. Also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Passed away Friday, May 3, 2024. She was 83 years old.
Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Friday, May 10th, 12:00 noon at Arlington Memorial Gardens (2145 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231). Please meet inside the gate at the gathering area at 11:45am.In honor of Jo, casual attire including jeans is requested for the service. Following the service, there will be a gathering at the Hawthorne house. Everyone is welcome to come and share remembrances of Jo.
