Jeanette Jones

Jeannette “Jeanie” Jones passed away on May 10, 2024. She was 96 years old. 

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Jones (Cordes). She was the loving sister of the late Marion (Robert) Merritt, Clifford (Patricia) Jones, Robert Jones, Dorothy (Robert) Nash, Thomas (Joyce) Jones, Ronald (Joyce) Jones, and Elaine Jones. She is survived by her brother Jerome (Mary) Jones and twenty-two nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews. 

She was born on October 11, 1927. She worked at Baldwin Piano, Rookwood Pottery, Jerry’s Restaurant on Glenway Avenue, and Delhi Frisch’s Big Boy for many years. 

She loved to dance and enjoyed dancing with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid bird lover and enjoyed watching old movies when having sleepovers with her great nieces and nephews. She loved watching Judge Judy because she “tells it like it is” and she was never afraid to stand up for what she believed in, even if it got her into trouble.

A celebration of her life will occur on Monday May 20^th at Holy Cross-Immaculata Church 30 Guido St, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 with visitation from 10AM until time of Mass at 11AM. She will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in St. Bernard.

A luncheon will follow at the Aston Woods Pool and Clubhouse 3745 Chestnut Park Ln, Cleves, OH 45002.
