Jean C. Trittschuh

Jean C. Trittschuh, born on February 8, 1930, and who gracefully departed this world on July 21, 2025, lived a life that resonated with love, warmth, and a devoted spirit.  Her outgoing and friendly demeanor left traces of joy wherever she went.  Known for her unwavering support and availability, Jean dedicated her heart to her family, as illustrated by the fond memories shared by her loved ones. "We loved that mom was always available to help us".  She found immense joy in babysitting, housesitting, pet sitting, and assisting her family in any capacity. Jean reveled in the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Conversations with her often revolved around her deep affection for them, as she felt an immense sense of pride for each one.

Jean's accomplishments extended far beyond her familial roles. An influential figure in her community, she served as the Worthy Grand Matron of the Ohio Eastern Star in 1976, impressively adept at memorizing and delivering ritual work that held great importance in the lives of many.  Jean found peace and happiness in life's little pleasures. She delighted in taking long walks along the river, cooking, reading, and entertaining friends and family. Travel was another great passion, allowing her to embrace the world with open arms.

Jean is survived by her beloved daughters, Peggy (Jeff) Isenogle and Bette (John) Soller. She was a proud grandmother AKA “Memaw” and “Manga” to Chad (Amy) Isenogle, Clay (Nicole) Isenogle, Becca (Lucas) Wright, and Erin (Mike) Richter, and a great-grandmother to Evan, Emma, Hope, McKenzie, and Canyon. Her affectionate presence will also be missed by her loving nieces, Donna (Doug) Hammond, Sandy Johnson, and Linda Galle.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents William F. and Helen Galle & wife of the late Russ Woodruff and the late Jim Trittschuh.

A celebration of her life will be held on August 3, 2025, with an Open House gathering from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The family extends special thanks to Ridgewood Health Campus and Interim Healthcare Hospice for their compassionate care during her final days. Jean's legacy of love, warmth, and unwavering support will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends, a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that has touched many.
