James D. Wichman

 James (Jim) Dennis Wichman died in Cincinnati on December 19, 2017. Jim was born in Chicago on March 7, 1943 to Betty (Miller) and William C. Wichman, who served as City Manager of Cincinnati from 1963 to 1968. Jim was an alumni of the University of Cincinnati and a principal architect at Wichman Gunther Architects, founded in 1978.

 Jim is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Joan (Elder) Wichman, sons Wayne and Kyle Wichman, their wives Becky and Tracie, grandchildren Aly, Kayci, Alex, Maddy, Neel, Nick, Lorelei, great grandchild Madisyn as well as siblings Laura Sturm, Robert Wichman and Suzanne McClendon.

 An open visitation honoring Jim’s life and memory will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 1-3 pm at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave, 45238. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the American Cancer Society.
