James A. “Moon” Mullen

Beloved husband of Maureen Luebbe Mullen, and the late Carol Ann Mullen (nee Sander). Loving father of Mark (Mona), Paul, Ken (Terry), Christy (Tom) Stoll, Terri (Mark) Javorsky, and Tom (Shannon) Mullen. Cherished grandfather of Neil (Cari), Priya, Wilson, Sam, Charlie, Julia, Henry, Lindsey (Nick), Craig, Ross, Carley, Austin, Brady, Sophie, Danielle (Troy), Rachael, Benjamin (Stacy), Kayla, Taylor, Riley, Lucas and great grandchild of Cassian.  Step father of Nancy Hager, Lynn (Bob) Smyth, Bob (Jan) Luebbe, and Gayle (Travis) Hunt. Dear brother of Jan (Tony) Schaefer, Tom (Mary Lou) Mullen, Pat (late Fred) Fox, Mike (Kathy) Mullen, Rick (Karen) Mullen, and Marty (Carol) Mullen. Also survived by numerous loving extended family and friends.

Jim was a proud graduate of Elder High School, Xavier University, XU Legion of Honor, a football player and coach, and co-owner of Woody Sander Ford.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday July 20, 2022. Age 83 years.

Visitation Thursday July 28^th from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Elder High School Schaeper Center, 4005 Glenway Ave., 45205.

Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Friday July 29^th at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Ave., 45238.
