Beloved husband of the late Aileen Schmidt (Nee Hosty), loving father of Bob (Joanne) Schmidt, Bill (Karen) Schmidt, Pat (Kent) Wahl, Mary Lou Tallarigo, Julie (Dr. Mark) Rudemiller, Jeanine (Steve) Chaney. Proud Grandfather to Robbie, John (J), Todd, Maggie Reese, Erin, Emily Young, Matthew and Michael Schmidt, Scott and Jeff Wahl, Jenny Tallarigo-Fallon, Joe, Becky Shockey, Laura Leisure and Jake Rudemiller, Chris, Nick and Melissa Chaney and Great Grandfather to 26 Great-Grand Children. Cherished Son to the late Joseph and Anna (nee Knolle) Schmidt and Brother to the late Charles and late Ernst Schmidt. He is survived by Sister-in-Law Ruth Hosty and many nieces and nephews. Proud World War II Army veteran. Member of the Hillview Golf Course. Visitation to be held on Wednesday, September 13th, at St. Martin of Tours Church, 3720 St. Martins Pl, 45211 from 9 AM to the start of mass at 10 AM.
