Glenda “Carroll” Frank, born Glenda Carroll Withers on June 10, 1935, in Richmond, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, at Hillebrand Nursing and Rehab in Bridgetown, Ohio. Throughout her ninety-one years, Carroll lived a life marked by compassion, loyalty, and steadfast devotion to her family and community.
Carroll’s warmth was felt deeply by all who knew her. Devoted above all else to her family, she found immense joy in time spent surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home, whether bustling with laughter or simply filled with quiet conversation, was always open and welcoming—a true gathering place for those she held dear.
She was a woman of accomplishment and quiet dignity in her professional life. Carroll dedicated decades as a nurse, first at Good Samaritan Hospital and later at St. Francis - St. George Hospital. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her own family—she touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues with her gentle care, wisdom, and dependability. Nursing was more than an occupation for Carroll; it was her calling, one she approached every day with integrity and grace.
Faith formed a vital cornerstone in Carroll’s life. She was a longstanding member of Trinity Hill United Church of Christ before joining the family of St. Peter & St. Paul United Church of Christ. Through these communities, she forged enduring friendships and found strength, comfort, and countless opportunities to serve others.
Carroll’s loving spirit will be cherished always by her devoted family: sons Mike Frank (Billie) and Glenn Frank (Jackie); her beloved grandchildren Tami Walker (Paul), Stephanie Hansel (Craig), Lindsay Fantauzzi (Cody II), Ryan Frank (Sarah), and Michael Cody Frank (Becky); and the many joys of her life, her great-grandchildren: Noah, Kellen, Brayden, Kendall, Alyssa, Trey, Ty, Reese, Blake, Payton, Lydia, Tenley, Emery, Lucas, Everly, Quinn, Kayla, Nick, Cali, and Nora. The love and lessons Carroll gave to each one remain an indelible gift, shaping the generations to come.
All who knew Carroll will miss her kind heart, wise counsel, and the unwavering love she poured into her family and work. Though she has departed from our sight, the legacy she leaves behind—in her family, her profession, and her faith—will be a source of comfort and inspiration forever.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Carroll’s well-lived life. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at the same location.
