George P. Batsakes

George P. Batsakes, passed in the loving care of his family on April 30, 2022 at the age of 92.  He is the devoted son of the late Peter and Helen Batsakes.  Beloved husband of the late Stella Batsakes (nee Jonson).  Loving father of Peter (Maria) Batsakes.  Cherished grandpa and Papou to his special grandchildren: Stephanie, George and Andrew Batsakes.  Dear brother of the late James Batsakes and Maria Sakellariou.  Also survived by many special god children, nieces and nephews. 

George was the proud owner/operator of a 115 year family business downtown, which included the Batsakes Hat Shop and Batsakes Brothers Dry Cleaners.  He was past Parish Council President and a devout member of The Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.  When duty called, he served his country in the United States Navy. 

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Thursday May 5^th, 2022 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service at 11:30 am, all at the Holy Trinity- St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Greek Church 7000 Winton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45224.
