George Linscott, Jr.

George Linscott Jr., a man whose vibrant humor and steadfast loyalty touched countless lives, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 57 years old. He often said, "You make your life what you put into it," and he truly embodied that philosophy through his unwavering commitment to his loved ones and his zest for life. George was born August 13, 1967 and raised in Zanesville, Ohio and lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for part of his life;  he was also a true Bengals fan.

George Linscott Jr. was a devoted partner to Tammy Nykile, and a loving father to Brandon Daughtery, Brittany Linscott, and Michael Memory (Shannon). His grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. As the fun-loving uncle, his nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart. His kitchen was often filled with the delicious aromas of his latest culinary adventure, a testament to his love of cooking and sharing good food. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Izzy, his ornery companion.

He was a dear brother to Rhod Carder (Gayla) and Russ Carder (Debbie), and Kelly Linscott. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol (Grosscup, Linscott) Lohman and George Linscott Sr., and his brother, Larry Linscott. George's infectious laughter and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A private celebration of life will be held with family.
