Frank H. Lukas, born September 7, 1915 in Cleveland, Ohio. Loving son of the late Frank and Josephine Lukas (nee Koutnik). Beloved husband of the late Helen Lukas (nee Scott) for 68 years. Loving father of Karen (Richard) Silz and the late Barbara Lukas. Cherished grandfather of Kenneth (Lizet) and Jason (Cynthia) and great grandfather of Olivia and Scarlett all residents of California. Frank attended Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He served in WWII as a Lieutenant (JG) in the Navy on the island of Palawan, Philippine Islands as the Photo Officer. Post war Frank moved to Cincinnati to work in Photography for the Crosley Corporation, later Avco Corporation and retired from the design studio of Frank Hulefeld Associates as head of the Photography Department. Frank enjoyed his family, art, history and travel and was the author of a humorous book about his experiences in WWII. He was also a member and former commander of the Green Twp. VFW Post 10380.

Passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017. Age 101 years.

Visitation 10 AM Thursday April 27, 2017, followed by a 10:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Antoninus Church, 1500 Linneman Rd., 45238.
