Florence E Metzger

Florence Elaine Metzger (nee Kuhn) age 98, lifelong resident of Delhi and Green Township, died peacefully January 8, 2015 in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida where she was residing with her family.

Florence was born March 19, 1916 and was the only child of Howard C and Henrietta M Kuhn. She attended Northwestern Elementary School and graduated from Western Hills High School in 1934. She married Raymond W Metzger in 1939. Like her parents, they were florist who primarily grew carnations and chrysanthemums. They had one child, Carole Jean Lunsford (Donald Jr).

Florence was preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by Carole and Donald Lunsford, her two grandchildren, Donald P Lunsford III and Jennifer R Quinn and her great grandchildren, Lilly Grace Quinn and Hudson Donald Quinn.

Florence loved her family, her St. John's Church family, gardening and her pets.

Visitation Friday, January 16th from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM, both at St. John's Westminster Union Church in the sanctuary. Burial to immediately follow at St. John's Cemetery.
