Eleni "Nitsa" Veres
Eleni “Nitsa” Veres (nee Attilakou) of Cincinnati passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023. Age 93 years. She was born in Peristeri Laconia, Greece to parents Achilleas and Anna Attilakou. Beloved wife of the late Paul Veres and the late Nickolas P. Kurlas. Loving mother of Peter (Lori) Kurlas and Mary Ann (David) Schmalz. Cherished grandmother of of Elana (David) Clifton, Kristina Kuehling, Tony (Melissa) Kuehling, and Thomas (Erin) Bakara. Adored great-grandmother to Ariana, Eloise, Liam and Maeve.
She was a devout member of the Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation Friday November 10th from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am all at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church 7000 Winton Road Cincinnati, Ohio 45224
