Dorothy Mazzei McBride

Dorothy Mazzei McBride  was reunited with Our Lord on Friday evening, April 6, 2018. She was just a month shy of her 85th birthday.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Raffaela Mazzei, whom she missed every day she was without them. Also preceding her in death was her dear brother, Joseph A. Mazzei and his wife, Alice, who happened to be her best friend---first, last, and always.

She is survived by her three sons, Michael (Ledra), Mark, Matthew (Gulchin), and her daughter, Maria, whom she adored. Also surviving her are her two nephews, Stephen and Joseph, as well as her nieces, Mary and Ruth, all of whom she loved dearly.

Dorothy touched the future by educating not only her children, but by helping to educate thousands of 4th and 6th grade students whom she taught in her 38 years of public school teaching.

She believed in God, country, right and wrong, and in family. She was much loved and is already very much missed.

Visitation is on Friday April 13th from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Ave., 45238.

Mass of Christian Burial is at10:30 AM Friday at St. James Catholic Church, 3565 Hubble Rd., 45247.

If desired, contributions in Dorothy’s memory may be made in the form of a Mass in her honor, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
