Coy M Lovett

Coy Lovett, passed peacefully on Saturday February 23, at the age of 87. 

He is the devoted husband of 63 years to Geneva (Anderson) Lovett.  Loving father of Renee (Doug) Wong and cherished papaw of Christine and Amy Wong.  Beloved brother in law to Geneva's brothers and sisters & dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Coy retired from Queen City Metro after 42 years as a professional driver.  Born in the mountains of Tennessee, he loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener.  He and his wife loved to travel throughout the Appalachian Mountains and The Carolina's.  He will be remembered for his generosity and willingness to lend a hand to anyone he met.  Humorous and witty, Coy loved to keep company with his friends and he never met a stranger.  He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the United States Army.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation Tuesday Feb. 26th from 6 pm until time of sharing at 8 pm, all at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot at Queen City Avenue.  If desired, memorials may be made to Queen City Hospice
