Bertram H. “Bert” devoted husband of Ruth Steinhard (nee Herbig) Loving father of Scott (Monna) and Bruce (Kathie) Steinhard.  Cherished grandfather of Nadine (Jake) Williams, Justin (Ali) Steinhard and Hannah Steinhard.  Dear sister of Sylvia French.  He passed peacefully on August 2, 2015 at the age of 92.

 Family and friends are invited to a visitation Sunday August 9, from 5-8 Pm with a F&AM #346 at 7:30 PM. And on Monday Aug. 10, visitation from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home 2880 Boudinot Avenue at Queen City Avenue 45238.

Bert was a graduate of Carson Elementary School, Western Hills High School – Class of ’41, and University of Cincinnati – Night College: Class of 1962 with a Degree in Engineering.  He was in the Army Air Corp during World War II and served in England, working on the planes and bomb sites.  He was active in his youth with Boy Scout Troop 118, and later with Cub Scout Troop #231 and Boy Scout Troop #231 at St. Peter and St. Paul United Church of Christ.  His hobbies included leather tooling (work), painting on wood and canvas, wood carving and photography; and always maintained a vegetable garden in his yard.  His was involved with his High School Reunions, Matrimates at St. Peter and St. Paul U.C.C., various Bible studies and the Delhi Senior Center Wednesday group.  He attended St. Peter and St. Paul United Church of Christ, Shiloh United Methodist Church, and Alexandria United Methodist Church.  During his life he worked at G.E., Evendale; Cincinnati Milacron, and A.M. Kinney Engineering firm in Clifton.  

Memorial gifts may be given in Bert's memory to St. Peter and St. Paul U.C.C.
