Anna L. Grimme

Anna L. Grimme, born on June 18, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, peacefully passed away on July 21, 2025, in West Chester, Ohio, surrounded by love and compassion. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Anna embraced life with warmth and sincerity.

Known for her kindness and dedication, Anna spent many years working in retail, contributing to the community through her roles at Van Leunen's and most recently at Walmart. Her interactions with customers and colleagues reflected her commitment to service and the value she placed on relationships.

Anna’s legacy continues on through her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Moorman; stepson, Jerry (Lynn) Schroeder; grandsons, Jeffrey Schroeder, Jimmy (Becky) Moorman, and Michael (Mandy) Moorman; granddaughter, Jennifer (Joe) Ranz; and twelve cherished great-grandchildren. Additionally, she will be remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched along her journey.

Anna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond H. Grimme, along with her parents, Charles Hollingsworth and Susan "Janie" Hollingsworth. She was also preceded by her son-in-law, Jim Moorman, and her siblings, Tommy Hollingsworth, Clarence Hollingsworth, Clara Perkins, Nola Anderson, Clora Anderson, Paul Hollingsworth, and Herbert "Bud" Hollingsworth.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday July 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service that will begin at 1:00 PM at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, located at 2880 Boudinot Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45238.

As we reflect on Anna's life, we celebrate her spirit, her generosity, and her unwavering love for her family. Anna L. Grimme will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
