Andrew “Andy” Holland passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the city where his life began on July 24, 1972. His fifty-three years were marked by kindness, steadfast loyalty, and enduring devotion to his family and those he held dear.
Andy was the beloved son of Martha and John Holland, who survive him and mourn the loss of their cherished son. He shared a strong bond with his brother, Tom Holland, whose life was deeply intertwined with Andy’s own. Andy is also survived by his uncle and aunt Robert and Martha Holland, and cousin Courtney Counts.
He is also fondly remembered alongside the family members who preceded him in death: his grandparents, Russell and Virginia Holland and Frederick and Viola Wahlbrink.
Cincinnati was not simply Andy’s birthplace and the location of his final days. It was the place where he built lifelong memories and connections. As the Owner/Manager of Marik-Holland Landscape Company for over 32 years, Andy was known for his love of the outdoors. He recieved a BS in Business Administration at Xavier University where he remained an avid Xavier Basketball Fan; he also loved the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. Andy's accomplishments included hiking the Grand Canyon, almost every Smoky Mountain Trail and Mount Elbert in Colorado. He also loved camping and riding off road vehicles in Kentucky with his brother and friends.
As his family mourns his absence, they hold close the memories of Andy’s compassion and steady presence. He leaves behind a legacy not measured in grand gestures, but in the countless small acts of kindness and unwavering support he offered to those fortunate enough to call him family.
Andy’s life will be remembered with respect, gratitude, and abiding love by all who knew him.
