Alfred "Al" Schweizer

SCHWEIZER

SCHWEIZER, Alfred J., 95, proud father, WWII U.S. Navy Veteran, and loving husband of the late Corinne Schweizer, passed away on May 24th, 2018. Father to Steve (Sherry), Rick (Debbie), John (Becky), and Dave (Tina). Devoted grandfather of Jenna (Will), Stacy (Tim), Allison (Andrew), Kelsey, Christina, Jennifer (Jeremey), Adam (Emily), Erin (Jon), and Dylan, and great grandfather to Quinn, Ainsley, Rylie, and Andrew. Al was preceded in death by his late brother Robert, and is survived by his dear sister-in-law Helen Barhorst. Al was born May 14th, 1923 in Cranford, New Jersey.  He joined the U.S. Navy in 1942 and served as an Aviation Machinist and Flight Engineer.  Al spent 34 years working for General Electric at the Evendale plant before retiring in 1985.

Family and friends are welcome to attend Visitation on Wednesday, May 30th, from 11 am to 1 pm, at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, 2880 Boudinot Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238.  Funeral service to be held at the funeral home immediately following visitation, followed by interment service with military honors at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
