Obituary

 Dorotha M.Kops  (nee Schutte), passed peacefully from this life on April 23rd, 2020, she was 93. 

 

Born in Batesville Indiana on March 19, 1927,  Dorotha was the daughter of Ernest W. Schutte and Bertha K. Richter.  Dorotha spent most of her adult life in Richmond Indiana, until recently moving closer to family in the Cincinnati area. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Kops.  Loving mother of Judi (John) Jungkunz and Becky (Mike) White.  Cherished grandmother and “Nanny or Nan” as she was affectionately known, of Rob III (Jacquie) Monger, Chad (Heather) Monger, Sarah (Mark) Meier, Megan (Jason) Green, Meredith Perez, Mason White and Mackenzie White.  Great grandmother of Robert IV, Nicholas, Kelcie, Courtney, Jake, Monroe, Makayla and Grady.  She is survived by her siblings: Robert and Wallace Schutte and Patsy Hornberger and preceded in death by siblings: Velma Dieckmann, Mildred Endicott, Ray, Melvin, Ernest, Charles and Kenneth Schutte.  Longtime companion of the late L. Dudley Turner and his children: Greg (Ginny) Turner, Cheryl (Frank) Begle and many special grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Also survived by many special nieces, nephews and friends. 

 

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the family will be having private services.  She will be laid to rest at the Adams Lutheran Cemetery in Batesville, Indiana. www.dwifuneralhome.com
