William Henry "Bill" Crosby, known to his family as Billy and his friends as Bo, passed away unexpectedly on March 02, 2026 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio with his son, Kelly, by his side. He was 89.

Loving husband of 56 years to the late Shirley Jean Crosby (nee Madden). Devoted father of two sons, Kelly of Cincinnati, OH and Shane (Tracy) Crosby of Orlando, FL. Cherished grandfather of Alexis, Samantha, and Danielle of Orlando, FL. Dear brother of Joann (the late Charlie) Chapman of Hemet, CA and Bobby (Debbie) Crosby of Marshfield, MO. Preceded in death by brothers Hilton (the late Margaret Ann) and Roger Crosby and parents, Maurice and Bernice Crosby. Dear brother-in-law to Ruby Tussey, James (Ingrid) Madden, and the late Glenn Madden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Bill lived a life always in motion. As a skilled and highly sought-after car painter by trade, he took great pride in his craft in a way only a true professional can. A gypsy at heart, his life’s journey took him from Florida to California to Ohio, but it was in Florida where he found the love of his life, Shirley. They had a passion for the open road that, through the years, never left them. Traveling was a source of great joy and bonding for them. Rarely did a year go by when they didn’t travel to the Carolinas, Florida, or one of several grand adventures out west. Bill had a great many hobbies he enjoyed in his life, from woodworking and watching car races on TV or at the track when he was able. He also had a great love of fishing, reading, and of course, clog dancing.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM. Services will be held at the Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home, ‍2880 Boudinot Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45238. Burial immediately following at Spring Grove Cemetery.

Donations will also be accepted at the funeral home.
