Shelby Clay Dunaway, Beloved husband of Angela "Angie" Dunaway (nee Hartmann). Loving father of Elisha (Niket) Amin, Sarah (Andrew) Dunaway, and David Dunaway. Cherished grandfather of Caden, Nolan, Eliza, Evelyn and Morgan. Adored son of the late Leon and Minnie Dunaway, and son-in-law of the late Bill and Betty Hartmann. Passed away on Saturday September 5, 2026. Age 69 years.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a true master of all trades, Shelby lived a life of dedication, skill, and a generous willingness to help others. He possessed relentless determination and poured his heart into everything he did, always seeing it through to the end. He was an expert at creating and fixing things and never hesitated to share his technical know-how or lend a hand to anyone in need. He was thoroughly enjoying his recent retirement by focusing on family, tinkering in his workshop, and exploring hobbies like metal detecting and 3D printing. More than anything, he centered his life around the people he loved. Shelby was the devoted husband of Angie for 41 years, as well as a proud father, a fun and loving grandfather, and a cherished brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
