IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sarah
Pulskamp
May 9, 1982 – February 12, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sarah Pulskamp, lovingly known as “Korn,” on February 12, 2026, following a courageous six-and-a-half-year battle with melanoma. She was born May 9, 1982, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Sarah was a talented hair designer, but her greatest role was being a devoted wife and mother. She poured her heart into her family, especially her two sons, Mickelson and Cohen, whose sports, activities, and dreams brought her endless pride and joy. She also shared a deep and loving partnership with her husband, Chad Pulskamp.
Full of life and always up for an adventure, Sarah cherished time with family and friends, from lake trips to her favorite getaway in Key West, Florida. She lived by her motto, “Buy the shoes, eat the cake, take the trip,” and encouraged everyone around her to enjoy life fully. A lover of music trivia, her playlists often featured favorites like Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, and Niko Moon. Her warmth, loyalty, humor, and infectious energy created lasting friendships and unforgettable memories.
A graduate of Mother of Mercy High School (Class of 2000), Sarah later attended the Aveda Fredric’s Institute in Cincinnati, where she pursued her passion for hair design. Even during her illness, she remained thoughtful toward others, often reminding friends to wear sunscreen and see a dermatologist regularly.
In addition to her numerous accomplishments, Sarah's character was marked by her adventurous spirit, boundless empathy, and unapologetic passion for life. A bit bougie, yet endlessly fun, she will be remembered not only for her strength in facing cancer but also for the way she embraced life uncompromisingly, whether it was through hot baths, cookouts with friends, or lively parties filled with laughter.
She is survived by her husband, Chad Pulskamp; her sons, Mickelson and Cohen; her parents, John and Cheryl Korn; and her sister, Jennifer Korn. In addition to her family, she was supported and loved by her Mercy girls, Harrison neighbors, and a close-knit community of friends who remained by her side through every chapter. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Mary Korn, David and Martha Robards, her aunt Kathy Korn, and her uncle Tim Buell.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Antoninus Catholic Church in Cincinnati on March 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at Aston Oaks in North Bend at 12:30 p.m. In true Korn fashion we would love to honor her by having everyone wear their Florida beach attire.
Sarah will be remembered for her strength, her laughter, and her unwavering love for her family and friends. Her spirit and her reminder to truly live life will stay with all who knew her.
