Ruth E. Furthmiller, née Everman, passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 95. She was born on November 17, 1930, in Covington, Kentucky. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Ruth will be remembered as a woman who found joy in welcoming others and bringing them together. She treasured spending time with those she loved and was known for always having a smile and something positive to say. In her younger years, she also enjoyed camping and traveling. Among the blessings of her life, she was especially proud to be a member of the Bible Chapel of Delhi Hills.

She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Tim) Reed and Carolyn (Thomas) Frank; her daughter-in-law, Ann (Ken) Kayser; her sister, Joan Fawbush. She was especially proud to be the grandmother of 7 special grandchildren and 17 wonderful great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her late husband Ross Furthmiller, her son Stephen Furthmiller, her parents, Roy and Nettie Everman, a host of special siblings, and her friend Ray Story.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at The Bible Chapel of Delhi Hills, 705 Pontius Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. The funeral service will begin there at 12:00 p.m., followed by graveside prayers and burial at 1:15 p.m. at St. John Cemetery, 1051 Neeb Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45233. A reception will follow back at The Bible Chapel of Delhi Hills.

Ruth’s life was marked by warmth, faith, hospitality, and kindness. She leaves behind memories of a welcoming spirit, a cheerful heart, and a lasting love for family and friends.
