Obituary

Linda Brislenn, a beloved wife, mother, and dedicated grandmother passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on April 26, 1948, Linda brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Throughout her life, she was not only a devoted family member but also a tireless contributor to her community. Linda's career as a Courier for Walt Sweeney Ford allowed her to connect with many, but it was her roles at home that defined her spirit. Married to her loving husband Bob Brislenn for an incredible 46 years, Linda was the heart of her family. She took immense pride in her roles as a mother to Breanne Greenberg and Brian Brislenn, mother-in-law to Aaron Greenberg, and as a grandmother to Zoe and Phoebe. There are countless cherished memories of her babysitting her granddaughters daily after they were born, a testament to her unwavering love and devotion that persisted until the day before her stroke.

Linda's passion for reading was infectious; she instilled a deep love of books not just in her own children but also volunteered at C.O. Harrison Elementary Library, where she would bring life to story time and support the library staff. She also spent countless hours exploring the local library with her children, fostering their imaginations and influencing those of her future granddaughters’.

Known for her lively and sarcastic personality, Linda had a big sense of humor that could light up the room. Her loud and hearty laugh was her trademark, one that many will miss dearly. In her free time, she enjoyed various hobbies including creating latch hook rugs, making jewelry, and shopping for sales—sometimes forgetting her delightful finds buried deep in her closet. Among her many quirks was a passionate love for Barry Manilow, and panda and koala bears, which reflected her vibrant spirit and whimsical character.

Linda will always be remembered as the "Toy Lady" during Halloween in her neighborhood, giving out alternates to candy with McDonald's Happy Meal toys, bringing joy to the youngest trick-or-treaters. Her legacy of kindness extended to every corner of her life.

Linda is survived by a sister and seven brothers, along with numerous nieces and nephews who adored her. She was predeceased by her parents, Betty (nee Kalish) Buelterman and Louis Buelterman, and her sister Betty Lou (nee Buelterman) Schneider, who surely welcomed her with open arms.

Linda’s life was rich with accomplishments, not merely measured by years but by the love she shared and the memories she created. As her family and friends gather to honor her remarkable journey, they will forever hold close the impact she made on their lives. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and an enduring passion for reading that will inspire generations to come.

Visitation will take place on December 6, 2025, at Dalbert, Woodruff & Isenogle Funeral Home in Cincinnati, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM. All who knew and loved Linda are warmly invited to join in remembering the wonderful woman who touched so many lives.

Those that want to share memories of her, no matter how small or long, funny or sad, will be invited to during the service.
