IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gregory "Greg" Joseph
Kremm
January 7, 1950 – January 24, 2026
Gregory J. Kremm, age 76, passed away on January 24, 2026. He was a devoted father, brother, grandfather, police officer, and friend whose warmth, humor, and generosity left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Greg was born on January 7, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the third son of Anthony J. and Rosemary Ann “Rosie” (Riese) Kremm of Clifton. He attended St. Boniface Grade School and Roger Bacon High School, graduating in 1968. While at Roger Bacon, Greg was active in football, track, glee club, and the famed Roger Bacon band. He was also a Merit Student and served as both Junior and Senior Class Senator. Greg later attended the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Police Science, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1975.
Greg was the proud father of three sons: Nick Kremm (spouse Jordan, and children Brody and Maddy), Tony Kremm, and Doug Kremm (spouse Katie). He is survived by his siblings Mike (spouse Dana, daughter Carolyn), Ron, and Cindy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary; his father, Anthony; and his brother, Bob.
Greg dedicated nearly 32 years of his life to serving the City of Cincinnati as a police officer. He joined the Cincinnati Police Division as a Police Cadet on August 14, 1968, and was promoted to Patrolman on March 12, 1972, receiving Badge 215. Over the course of his career, he served in Districts 1, 2, and 3, including assignment to the District 3 Mini-Tac Covert Unit. Later, he was assigned to the Traffic Section as a Hit Skip Crash Investigator. Greg was respected for his professionalism, dedication, and camaraderie. He retired on June 1, 2000, having received 39 letters of appreciation and commendation, including six from Police Chiefs.
Beyond the badge, Greg loved to have a good time, cherished his family deeply, and genuinely cared for others. His good-hearted, charismatic, and friendly nature made him a friend to all and truly unforgettable. He had a way of bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome. Gregory J. Kremm will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched, but his legacy lives on through the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind.
